That New Walmart Smell

This weeks been kinda slow, not time wise more finding wise, nothing too exciting, though Jakob texted us yesterday saying he forgot to respond and asked what time works for this week, Jared also went to church with his family instead of just himself yesterday too, though he went to another ward because his kids had friends there and didnt end up coming to his actual ward which we can go to, baby steps I suppose. 

Weather was super nice all of last week, though its looking like its going to be hot and sunny all of this week, 0 chance of rain until friday... im seeing a lot of people packing up kayaks and canoes and paddleboards for labor day week/weekend, made me miss going to the lake/river a little bit but it doesn't matter that much lol. 

A new Walmart opened up near us so we went there instead of the farther one, and this one was very fancy, it still had that new Walmart smell and everything. Undershelf lighting, working shopping carts, stocked shelves, etc. I'm sure all of that will be ruined by next week but it was nice for today. 

We went to olive garden for my comps birthday and that was expensiveee. It was good though, except the waiter, he asked us what we wanted then stood in the corner instead of refilling soups (we went with our roommates and they fill up on salad and soup there then take the main dish home and have it as a second meal lol).  Then the zone leaders took him (which also means me yayy) out for his birthday also to taco bell because he really likes taco bell ig, it was pretty good, though you could tell what you were eating wasn't even remotely good for your digestive system, they had some new mountain dew there, Baja midnight I think, so we all tried it, I think its a passion fruit if I remember correctly, I was pretty good, elder Madsen(comp) really likes mtn dew, he's trying to get me to try all the flavors but I do sparingly cause I dont need a bunch of caffeine in my system, though he's buying it for me so im not gonna say no, I got voltage today, my initial reaction was that It wasn't good for you because it was purple but I drink bright orange soda so lol, its a raspberry and its not bad, I prefer fanta though, Baja blast isn't bad either. 

I bought some eggs and made an omelet yesterday, i didnt have the fancy spatula so I had to use two to flip it, so I had to wash two. My roommates aren't lazy with much, but when it comes to dishes they'll use them all then tell me to do it because my dishes are in there too so I might just start washing my dishes right after I use them so they can have a chance to do them 😅. We have a dishwasher but its small, and having to take bowls with cold greasy water out from the bottom of the sink isn't the best experience, bc they throw everything in the sink, the rest of the apartments pretty clean except for that sink lol. 

I got some cake mix and reeses choco chips so im going to make a mug cake tonight, very exciting stuff. Got some oatmeal too, bread and cheese as well so I can make some grilled cheeses hehehe. My legs have finally healed from lunges so I can walk now lol. But yeah, lots of fun stuff!
